Nicholas Pellegrino
Nicholas Pellegrino founded Atlas Relief Group with a clear mission: build a disciplined, capable organization that can provide real support when communities need it most.
His background includes federal corrections, special operations environments, and private-sector security leadership in high-risk, high-pressure roles requiring sound judgment, accountability, and organized response. He later built and scaled a security firm in Arizona, leading teams responsible for protecting people, infrastructure, and critical operations.
That operational experience directly shapes Atlas Relief Group. The organization was built with a strong focus on planning, logistics, communication, and leadership, not theory.
Atlas leadership and personnel have assisted in more than six disaster operations across the United States and organized five search operations in Arizona. The organization was founded from the belief that communities often face serious gaps during emergencies, where delays and poor coordination can make situations worse. Atlas exists to help close those gaps through disciplined volunteers, organized response, and a commitment to doing the work properly.

His experience in high-level mission planning, risk assessment, and logistics management has developed a disciplined, solutions-oriented leadership style centered on preparedness, operational efficiency, and team success.
Josh has extensive experience leading large teams of men and women across demanding environments, consistently demonstrating the ability to coordinate personnel, manage critical logistics, and execute objectives under pressure. His diverse background allows him to approach challenges strategically while maintaining a strong commitment to service, leadership, and organizational excellence
Cesar Gomez
Cesar Gomez serves as Vice Chairman of Atlas Relief Group, bringing leadership, discipline, and operational experience developed through his service in the United States Marine Corps, public safety, private security, and extensive survival training.
During his time in the Marines, Cesar operated in demanding environments where accountability, teamwork, and mission execution were critical. That experience shaped his ability to lead under pressure, operate within structured teams, and remain focused in high-stress situations.
Following his military service, Cesar gained experience in public safety and emergency response environments requiring constant situational awareness, sound judgment, and coordinated operations. In the private sector, he has supported high-profile security operations where professionalism, discretion, and precision were essential. His background in survival training further strengthens his ability to operate in austere environments and support disaster response and field operations.
Leadership within Atlas Relief Group is hands-on and standards-driven. Those in leadership roles are expected to be present, engaged, and accountable. This is not a passive organization.
Every decision is guided by three priorities:
Leadership sets the tone for the organization. That tone is calm, controlled, and mission-focused.
Atlas Relief Group exists because people need help in moments where systems are strained or unavailable. The motivation is simple and grounded: show up, be prepared, and provide real support without creating additional risk or confusion.
This work is not about recognition. It is about responsibility. Whether supporting a search effort, assisting in supply distribution, or helping a community stabilize after an event, the expectation is the same—do the job right, or do not do it at all.
Faith plays a role in that foundation. The belief that service to others matters, and that responsibility extends beyond oneself, is part of what drives this organization forward.
Atlas Relief Group maintains strict expectations for all leadership and volunteers. These standards are non-negotiable and are enforced to protect both the mission and the people involved.
These standards are what allow Atlas to operate with trust and credibility.
Atlas Relief Group is built on a defined set of values that guide both leadership and operations:
These are not just statements. They are expectations that shape how the organization operates every day.
Atlas Relief Group’s leadership is committed to building something that can be relied on. Not just in principle, but in practice. When people choose to support or work with this organization, they should know exactly what they are getting: disciplined leadership, honest operations, and a clear commitment to doing the work the right way.
