About Atlas Relief Group

Volunteers distribute bottled water in a muddy disaster area.

Our Mission

Atlas Relief Group exists to serve communities in times of crisis through disciplined response, practical support, and a commitment to helping those in need with integrity and purpose.

We are a faith-centered organization guided by the belief that service to others is a responsibility, not an option.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

Our mission is simple: show up when it matters, provide real support, and operate with consistency, structure, and accountability.

Who we are

Atlas Relief Group is an Arizona-based nonprofit focused on disaster relief, volunteer search support, and community outreach.

We are built around a team of trained volunteers, leaders, and supporters who understand that effective response requires more than good intentions. It requires organization, preparation, and the ability to operate in real-world conditions.

Atlas operates through trained volunteers, defined leadership, documented procedures and coordinated field operations.

Why we were founded

Nick believes God called him to start Atlas Relief Group. Atlas was built to provide organized, dependable support during times of need. The goal is simple: show up prepared, operate with structure, and contribute in a way that actually helps. Whether supporting search efforts, assisting in disaster response, or working within communities, the mission is grounded in service, responsibility, and doing the work the right way.

Atlas Relief Group was founded to address a gap that exists in many emergency and community response efforts.

Too often, people want to help but lack coordination, leadership, and the ability to deploy effectively. At the same time, communities facing disasters or critical incidents need support that is reliable, organized, and disciplined.

This organization was created to bridge that gap. We exist to bring structure to volunteer efforts, to support those already doing the work, and to ensure that when we respond, we do so in a way that actually helps.

Values

Our Values Our work is guided by a set of core principles:

Service Over Recognition
We prioritize impact over visibility. The work matters more than who gets credit.

Discipline and Accountability
We operate with structure, clear roles, and responsibility for our actions.

Integrity
We are honest about what we can do, what we cannot do, and how resources are used.

Preparedness
We believe effective response starts before the emergency. Training and readiness are essential.

Respect for Human Dignity
Every person we encounter is treated with respect, regardless of their situation.
