Volunteer Opportunities – Atlas Relief Group

Atlas Relief Group is actively building a disciplined and dependable volunteer force to support search and rescue operations and disaster response missions.

Our organization is structured to operate alongside public safety agencies and within coordinated response environments. We prioritize accountability, professionalism, and operational readiness.

Volunteers are placed into roles supporting field operations, logistics, and coordinated response efforts during emergencies and disaster events. Assignments may vary from local activations to extended deployments depending on operational needs.

Minimum Standards

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, able to pass a background check, and possess reliable transportation. Volunteers must be physically capable of working in demanding environments, including extended operational periods and adverse weather conditions.

Strong communication and the ability to operate within a structured chain of command are required.

Preferred Experience

While not required, preference is given to individuals with prior experience in military, law enforcement, fire service, emergency medical services, security operations, or search and rescue. Additional value is placed on candidates with medical training, radio communication experience, or familiarity with incident command systems.

Operational Expectations

Atlas Relief Group maintains a high standard of conduct. Volunteers are expected to report prepared, follow established procedures, and maintain professionalism in all environments. Independent or unsanctioned actions are not permitted.

All volunteers must be willing to participate in training to maintain readiness and safety.

Transparency

Volunteers may be exposed to physically and mentally demanding environments. While safety protocols are in place, the nature of search and rescue and disaster response work involves inherent risk and unpredictability.

All applicants undergo a structured screening process, including application review, background verification, interview, and onboarding.
